The open source portfolio
Four tools, running in production for teams I have never met — and that is exactly how it should be. The code, the issues and the discussions are all public.
pgloader
Migration to PostgreSQL from MySQL, SQLite, MS SQL Server and CSV files. The de facto standard — Oracle is the missing piece, open to funding below.
pgcopydb
Parallel PostgreSQL-to-PostgreSQL copy and migration, with resume-on-failure and logical replication follow.
pg_auto_failover
PostgreSQL high availability through automated failover, with a monitor that guarantees quorum.
pgextwlist
PostgreSQL extension whitelisting: a sudo model that lets a hosting provider allow CREATE EXTENSION without granting superuser.
Fund a feature
Fund building Oracle support for pgloader v4, released under an open source license.
